We highly recommend Way2Go Adventures! We had an amazing afternoon exploring the Brecon Canal near Monmouthshire. We are both beginners, and our instructor Wayne gave us the confidence we needed to enjoy this quiet stretch of water. We had originally planned to canoe on the River Wye, however recent rainfall had made this unsafe. It was wonderful that Wayne had a backup plan, so we weren't let down. He also provided all the waterproof safety clothing needed and even offered a hot drink when we had finished our activity. Canoeing would be a great activity for families with teenage children, as it builds confidence and is an opportunity to work as a team, while also enjoying the breathtaking landscape. We look forward to coming again for the River Wye experience!

A huge thank you to Wayne and his team who guided 13 friends and me down the River Wye in canoes. We had particularly challenging weather but the team at Way2Go were a dream. They kept it fun, engaging and were extremely adaptable to our large group. We had an amazing time and couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

What a fantastic weekend we just had. We picked kayaking and gorge walking. It was an amazing experience with expert knowledge from Wayne along with his lovely friendly manner. Would highly recommended this company to everyone. Very professional. We will return again in the future. D

What a fabulous afternoon we had canoeing on the River Wye, and such a lovely stretch of the river too, Our experienced leader Wayne was brilliant. He delivered a no nonsense safety briefing, and fully instructed us on use of equipment and ‘Does n Donts’ whilst out on the water. Despite this he had a wicked sense of humour and shared his time equally between a party of 8, instructing us and assuring us every step of the way. I believe we travelled at a leisurely pace and covered approximately 6 miles. At the end of our experience we were collected by Di (Wayne’s Mother) who drove us back to our cars. A lovely lady who couldn’t have been more helpful from the booking of our experience to departure.

Organise an afternoon kayak trip for 9 individuals on the River Wye -fun was had by all. Wayne was able to transport us from the meeting point, to where we were to start on the River Wye. Paul was our guide for the afternoon on the river and was able to provide an informative afternoon while kayaking down the river. Everyone in the evening remenised of the fun they had during day. Thanks Di, Wayne and Paul. 🛶😄🏞

Excellent morning gorging with Way2go Adventures. Wayne was great, obviously very experienced and showed great support to my two young sons (aged 7 and 10). Great location and great kit too. 👍

Had a fantastic time kayaking along the river Wye. Despite a large portion of the group being new to kayaking including myself, we were expertly guided along the river and left feeling ready to go again next time we're in the area.

The half day experience was great and perfect for beginners (or people who haven't been since that one time at school). Wayne was great and able to handle the group of 6 with varying abilities and speed. No one felt they were on their own and he would be there in a flash to help if needed. This experience has definitely made me want to do more kayaking and be more confident to try other water activities.

We booked a canoeing and a gorge walking trip with Way2Go Adventures and both were great. Canoeing was with my kids and my parents so a varying range of ages and abilities. Wayne was great at guiding and helping when the wind picked up towards the end. Beautiful stretch of the river Wye with salmon jumping out of the water, kingfishers flying by, herons, swans and geese and a variety of bridges to canoe under. Gorge Walking was in the Brecon Beacons and involved walking up a river/stream and climbing up several waterfalls. Great fun. This time it was just my husband and kids (aged 10 and 7). Ample opportunities to swim. Stunning scenery. As ever, Wayne was a great guide, helpful, knowledgeable and excellent company. Gorge walking was the highlight of our trip!

My partner and myself travelled from The Lake district to The River Wye just to learn to paddle with Wayne and he did not let us down. Would recommended to anyone wanting to learn with a professional company. 5 stars.
