Brilliant experience, really friendly team and a good value gift. I did the half day course, you get plenty of time doing actual driving, being taught useful tips in a relaxed atmosphere, I knew it would be good but still exceeded expectations! Would recommend to anyone.

We had an excellent morning's Off Road experience with our instructor, Dave. He has bags of passion for Off Road and clearly is extremely profficient at it, whilst also having a great manner and instruction style to drivers with less experience. Absolutely loved the experience having never done Off Road before. We learned so much! Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our course with Dave, and left there buzzing. Understanding the capabilities of our truck gave us so much more confidence. Dave pitched it exactly right for our skill level, knowledge and needs. Just what we were hoping for. Money well spent and highly recommended!

Did an owner driver course today with my Discovery 3 and it was fantastic! The instructor Dave was a top bloke and gave excellent tuition. He obviously has masses of experience and knew exactly what my car was capable of. I wanted to learn how to drive off road, explore what my car could do, have fun and drive home without any damage. I ticked all those boxes thanks to Dave. Thoroughly enjoyed myself and would highly recommend! 👌

Cannot recommend Whitecliff more highly - do not look anywhere else for your off-road driving training. We needed a proper training centre (not just an experience day, although I think Whitecliff would be great for that too!) and struggled to find something before we came across Whitecliff. Dave and Mark were incredibly knowledgeable, patient and friendly and tailored the course perfectly to our requirements, even having an in-depth knowledge of the car we're planning to drive on our trip (not the same car we were learning it) - it was quite remarkable. Thanks Whitecliff for all your help - we are already recommending you to friends and family.

Did a 1:1 half a day course here and had such an amazing morning! Learnt so much and had a LOT of fun. It was such a friendly and calm environment so as a complete beginner I was made to feel comfortable and not embarrassed to ask questions. The booking process was a breeze, really responsive and I was so thrilled when they accepted my request to do it in 300tdi Disco to match my own. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. Only thing I'd change about the experience is doing a full day as I didn't want it to end. Can't wait to go back! Thanks guys.

Recently I did an "Owner driver" course - full day, with Dave as instructor. I was interested to learn the capabilities of my car and how to deal with unknown terrain safely - this course exceeded my expectations by far. I got the preparation instructions in advance - make sure to follow them exactly, as the weather can change quickly and it is essential to walk the route by foot first in order to understand how to deal with it while driving. I really enjoyed the course. Dave's attitude was very professional and he explained some concepts I would never think of before. He challenged me to think and explain what I would do before driving each obstacle, then patiently corrected me by pointing to any potentially dangerous decisions and explaining the decision process on how to choose the safest route. I liked that the course was focused on the safety in the first place. While learning about the capabilities and limits of my car, I also had to experience various unusual situations and how to react to them. For example there are only a few seconds to decide what to do when the car is sliding downhill - while scary at first, following Dave's instructions helped me to understand subtle nuances in terrain, car and driver behaviour - sometimes our intuition can be wrong and the driver has to know exactly what to do. This is not a "pay and play" event - the course is essential for anyone wanting to venture off tarmac as it provides the knowledge that can prove life saving in difficult situations. Despite I have a very capable car which dealt with the terrain easier than I expected, this course made me realize that the car abilities is only 50% of the success - the other 50% is the driver skill.
