Not a good experience. Got quoted over the phone around £270-£300. Day of the fix got a call to say it would be £380. Within a day, the price had jumped up to £777. Definitely saw me coming 😡

I took my van in as the injectors had gone. I got a call saying the injector would be £550 labour is £63 plus Vat so £725. i questioned the price of the parts as the RAC guy told me what the cost is. The local ross car part place was £298 and i ended up getting it done at a good garage for £443 total and yes the injector was a top branded part. so saved nearly £300 by driving my van away. Make you own mind up but something very wrong with there pricing

I purchased a 4x4 towards the end of last year, I specified I'd like a clean MOT on it before buying as it had a few advisories. It was brought with a clean MOT on it, however, a few months later the brakes failed on the motorway, luckily I managed to get to a reputable garage and they fixed the brakes and diagnosed the problem as a corroded brake pipe which was picked up on the 3 previous MOT's prior to the one carried out at Beales. On top of that, when the brakes were being fixed the reputable mechanic noticed that the body mount had detected itself from the vehicle, corrosion to this part was also picked up on the 3 previous MOT's prior to the one carried out at Beales. I have contacted Beales on legal advice but no response. I have reported them to the DVSA, trading standards and Watchdog. Avoid at all costs, not only did they sell me a vehicle with a dodgy MOT but knowingly sold me a dangerous one, the day before the brakes failed I was travelling with my Daughter in the vehicle. AVOID AT ALL COSTS took my car for MOT fair enough it failed.had the work done by another garage took back for a retest failed again on one of the previous failures, I went back to where I had the work done the guy who worked on the car and his boss came out and shown me what they had done regarding the handbrake failure they tested it for me and there was no problems(photographic evidence) booked it in with another garage and it failed again…was explained to me that the drop links should of been spotted and picked up on which was missed by Beales…also at the same garage with the new MOT test told me there is nothing wrong with the handbrake and was fine will be contacting trading standards today. Giving 1 star as you can’t give 0

In laws car was in this garage for almost 6 weeks!!! Stuart is the most rude. obnoxious, unprofessional 'mechanic' I have ever experienced. The way he speaks to people is shocking. Ordered a new engine and eventually it arrived but was the wrong one. Seems the only work they may be capable of is changing tyres and that ,may be beyond the realms of their capability. They have no idea of customer service - please avoid at all costs so you don't experience the treatment we have!!

Dismissive, unhelpful and flat out lie. Didn't do part of what I asked which was main reason for taking car in and was to investigate the cause of a weird noise despite saying they would look into it (after the third time I asked). Just did the MOT and then didn't bother to ring again. When I rang to find out what the outcome was it was clear they still had not done anything other than the MOT and the invoice reflected that. As someone who travels long distances to remote places on my own (often with no phone signal) I am concerned something will break and I will be stranded. Now have to find anothet garage to look into the issue.

If your thinking about buying a car from here then don’t! They sold me a faulty car and within the 3 month warranty period we took it back to them 7 times to be fixed. They kept telling us they fixed the problem then a new one would appear. It’s an all round 2 hour journey at a time there and back for us. They agreed to give us a refund if we had any more problems with the car then told us we couldn’t have one unless it was the ‘same’ fault as before. Turned out to be exactly the same fault but was refused a full refund!! Owner wasn’t bothered about the fact we kept taking the car in even though we have a baby with us. Was only given a partial refund and when I questioned why was told the car had depreciated in value!! In 3 months!!!!! He took money off us as the mileage went up- not taking into account it went up because we kept driving the car to and from the garage!! Disgusting!! Avoid at all costs!!!!

I've been using bele garage for car MOT & servicing for over 7 years now and can't recommend them highly enough. Finding a good garage that you trust is rare...but this is one of them!! They fully outline everything for you before any works are carried out and are very reasonable in cost. I've already them recommended to family (who have also now been using them for 5yrs) and will continue to recommend them for both their quality of work and their professionalism.

Brilliant place, friendly and polite. Slight issue after buying a car but was very quickly resolved, without hesitation. Nothing seemed too much trouble. Very happy and would recommend!
