Excellent accomodation with every thing you need .

Our favourite place to stay in the Forest of Dean! Both Lambsquay apartments offer bright airy spaces with well appointed kitchens/bathrooms, making them the perfect place to relax & unwind or entertain family & friends for dinner. Luxury bed linens and bespoke interiors offer a distinctive Calico finish, never failing to impress our guests. It all adds up to being a wonderful home away from home.

I visited this hotel 10 years ago in 2012 during a two-year world trip. I was exposed to the wonderful culture of England through the hospitality here. I was carrying a backpack, my hair was long and messy, and I may not have been dressed like a gentleman. I walked as much as I wanted, about 20 kilometers each day through the lovely forests nearby, and came back to this hotel exhausted. When I returned to this hotel, I had a warm and delicious meal served by a nice old gentleman who took good care of me. When I ordered from him, his reply "lovely" still rings in my ears. 10 years have passed since then. I wonder if the old man is still alive and well. I hope to return to this hotel again someday, with my beloved family.

Very trendy stay, comfortable and well kitted out kitchen (with a dishwasher!) . Good location. Secure entry system with a keypad. Only 4 stars because had some minor cleanliness issues (blocked sink due to hair) and value for money.
